Aliette Maillard was appointed Director of Communications at Inria on the 1st June 2024. Alongside Bruno Sportisse, CEO of Inria, she will be in charge of supporting, In particular, she will be responsible for developing communications to support Inria's scientific ambitions and impact.
Aliette Maillard joined French public research in 2013 as Irstea's Communications Director, after a career as a marketing and communications manager in film distribution (Columbia TriStar Films and Les films du Losange), then in the media (France Inter, TCM Cinéma) and in an agency (Image et Stratégie). At Irstea, she developed brand and influencer communications in the run-up to the institute's merger with Inra. As a member of the strategic committee for the merger, she worked on the development of the process and its deployment, particularly in terms of change management. As Deputy Director of Communications for the new INRAE institute, since 2020, she has been responsible in particular for the creation of the global magazine Ressources and for communication of the 10 national programs (PEPR) piloted by INRAE as part of France 2030.
A graduate in labor law, Aliette Maillard also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA-MAE) from IAE Paris la Sorbonne, obtained in 2020.
