Cécile Vigouroux joined Inria on October 19, 2020 as Director of International Relations.
Cécile Vigouroux holds a PhD in Chemistry and graduated in 1998 from Université Joseph Fourier - Grenoble I, now Université Grenoble-Alpes.
After her PhD in Physical Chemistry at CEA Grenoble (1994-1998), she carried out a first postdoctoral stay at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in Sweden, then a second one in France at École Polytechnique.
In 2007, she joined the External Relations Department at École Polytechnique as project manager in charge of international development. She was also in charge of non-degree exchange programs.
In 2013 she joined ENSTA Paris as Deputy Director in charge of international relations within the Department for Development, International Relations and Corporate Partnerships. She was in charge of piloting and implementing the international strategy of the institution in order to develop new partnerships in education and research and to strengthen existing ones. She was also responsible for the international promotion of ENSTA Paris, and the pilot of ENSTA Paris international student recruitment in the Engineer Program.
She was for 4 years (2015-2018) in charge of the development of ParisTech collaborations with Russia and the president of ParisTech recruitment committee in Russia, as part of ENSTA Paris involvement in ParisTech. She was appointed in 2019 to represent ENSTA Paris within the International working group of Institut Polytechnique de Paris.
