The impact of current lifestyles on climate change has been an issue that has been raised more and more in recent years. Whether it’s individual or collective, the commitment around climate change is mobilising more and more citizens. More generally, it’s an issue that occupies an essential place in our society: awareness-raising actions on the subject are multiplying and our campus, where an ecological transition dynamic has recently been initiated, is no exception.
Climackathon is a creative workshop that draws on knowledge from social psychology, marketing and neuroscience to imagine innovative solutions. By bringing together participants from different disciplines, the aim is to respond to this challenge by creating and imagining solutions that serve the environment, using Design Thinking methods. The solutions can take all possible forms: a service, an application, a website, a prototype, a tool...
Practical information
How ?
-
Day 1 - Scientific insights by Frédéric Alexandre and Nicolas Rougier (MNEMOSYNE project-team, Inria/IMN) on what works and what doesn't, as well as the biological or social explanations for our behaviours.
-
Day 2 - Workshops in small groups to apply these methods to different topics: mobility, production and consumption and eco-gestures of daily life.
For who ?
All campus communities are invited to participate, especially those interested in communication and engagement issues. Just be curious! No prior knowledge is necessary, but consulting a few resources can be an advantage.
