Florence Lechevalier

State administrator, Florence Lechevalier has been deputy director of the Haute-Vienne public finance department since 2016, in charge of the steering and resources division.

She holds a master's degree in public law, and began her career as a treasury inspector, in charge of a treasury in the Oise region. After passing the competitive examination for principal inspector in 1999, she began her audit career in Finistère, then in Loiret, where she was in charge of regional audits. Appointed departmental director, she was responsible for coordinating and steering the local public sector and economic action for the Centre region.

In 2011, she joined BRGM, a public industrial and commercial establishment specializing in earth sciences, as accounting officer, where she held this position for 5 years.
