In this exploratory action, it is proposed to work on numerical tools for the modelling and simulation of natural gravity hazards in mountainous areas. The basic idea is to bridge the gap between data and numerical methods to improve risk prevention and prediction, by extending existing numerical methods in a nonsmooth framework and by using data-driven modeling techniques.
