Improved Bearings-only Target Motion Analysis Using AI Tools
Improved Bearings-only Target Motion Analysis Using AI Tools

The conventional problem of localization of a target mobile robot by an observer one using only the measurements of  the bearing angles is studied in the project. The bearing angle just indicates the direction in which another robot is located, and the observer needs to recover from this information the target's position and the velocity (in the context of passive trajectography). To this end, in the present project, the researchers of Naval Group, IIT Delhi and Inria develop various estimation and tracking algorithms by combining modern methods from the theories of control, estimation and artificial intelligence. This collaboration is partially supported by CEFIPRA.
