Crisis management scheme
The institute activated its crisis management system autonomously and preventively as of 26 February 2020. This system comprises a national unit and units in each centre. The national unit oversees and coordinates all of the institute's actions. It has been meeting daily since 12 March and until further notice.
The cells in each centre are responsible for the proper operational deployment of the measures taken by the national cell, in relation with the site's stakeholders and taking into account the specificities of the site. They also provide the national unit with factual information, questions and recommendations. In addition, they are the contacts with the local public authorities (Prefecture, Rectorate).
Regular internal and external communication
The institute is in daily contact with its main supervisory ministry, the MESRI, at the level of which overall coherence is defined for higher education and research. In addition, the institute ensures that its positions are communicated in real time to its agents (particularly on the intranet) who are called upon to telework on a massive scale, and, for the purposes of coherence, to its partners, whether local (universities, etc.) or national (organizations, etc.).
The Institute will be as reactive as possible in an effort to adapt to daily life.
