At the heart of the European ecosystem
With more than 180 projects carried out in the framework of Horizon 2020, Inria is a major French player in digital research and innovation in Europe. Its teams are participating in the Horizon Europe and Digital Europe programmes which, between 2021 and 2027, will promote the deepening of cooperation at Community level and implement the research and innovation aspects of the European digital strategy.

Horizon Europe is the EU's main funding programme for research and innovation, with a budget of €95.5 billion.
Digital Europe Programme
Digital Europe is a new EU funding programme to put digital technology at the service of businesses, citizens and public administrations.
A Europe fit for the digital age
The EU Digital Agenda aims to ensure that this transformation benefits citizens and businesses, while helping the EU reach its 2050 climate neutrality target.
From cybersecurity to AI, networks and high performance computing
In its fields of expertise, the institute is present within networks or platforms of academic and industrial actors who elaborate, at the European level, research and innovation agendas to develop scientific, technological and industrial capacities in Europe.
Together with its European partners, Inria intends to actively contribute to flagship initiatives in strategic areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, networks, high performance computing or in the major digital application sectors.
With significant participation in programmes of excellence, researcher mobility, and support for future disruptive technologies, Inria's ambition is to continue to be a mobilised player in digital technology in Europe.
