Sandrine Mazetier was appointed Deputy CEO for Public Policy Support by Bruno Sportisse, CEO of Inria, on October 1st, 2022.
After studying classical literature in preparatory classes and at Paris X, then corporate communication at CELSA, Sandrine Mazetier began her career in corporate communication agencies, working on public and general interest communication issues (BDDP Corporate, Sperone, Lowe Stratéus).
Elected as a Paris Councillor in March 2001, she was deputy to the Mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë, from 2001 to 2008. Initially in charge of heritage, she then became responsible for higher education and student life (2004-2008). As a member of the Paris Parliament from 2007 to 2017, she is mainly a member of the Law Commission. She was rapporteur for the substance and for the opinion of several bills and proposals. In July 2012, she was elected Vice-President of the National Assembly, a position she held throughout the 14th legislature (2012-2017). In this capacity, she organised the first Data Camp as part of the National Assembly of the 21st Century project initiated by President Bartolone and in partnership with Etalab.
In 2018, she trained as a mediator and joined a human resources consultancy specialising in the public and semi-public sphere. In autumn 2021, she obtained a Master 2 in Human Resources Management in a complex environment from the University of Paris I-Panthéon Sorbonne.
Her mission is to establish and promote relationships of trust based on mutual knowledge and understanding between Inria and its public partners.
Sandrine Mazetier joined Inria in April 2021 as Director of Public Affairs before becoming its Deputy CEO for Public Policy Support in October 2022.
